Faces

I gave my blog a facelift. You know sometimes you just need to rearrange a room before you can feel comfortable in it again. That's what I am hoping for. This is a transitionary facelift. I am working on a whole new all me design.

Speaking of faces... my friend made a cool game to play. So I am going to play it. This is it....

the name of the game is profile pictures. 

rules: 

1) post your first ever facebook profile picture.

2) pick one photo {only one} from each consecutive year up to the present one. 

3) explain.

Alright... So here we go. Let's give er a whirl. 

I got facebook in 2007. 

This is the bus that made me decide I wanted to drive a bus someday. I think this was some sort of youth trip somewhere when I was a leader. Good example I am right? I specifically remember the conversation with the camera holder (who I have no memory recollection of...if it is you tell me!) in which I said... "Hey I am going to stick my head out the window, take a picture!" Something to that extent. It hurt a little. 

2008. 

I didn't have much to choose from in 2008... and this one had the most significance behind it. This was shortly (very shortly) after I got home from my trip around the world, and I went to my friends house and got a makeover so I didn't feel like a grub anymore. Then we took pictures just for fun. Holding up a white sheet behind me in the kitchen to make it look semi professional or something. But I like this picture the most because it reminds me of a picture I have and cherish of my Grama when she was my age, she was posed similar. 

2009 

This is me and my dear friend Danielle. This was one of my very last days in Medicine Hat before I moved to Regina. I know exactly what song we were singing. It was tradition - play this song - grab nearest object to act as microphone - sing heart out. Every time I hear this song now, I immediately think of Danielle. 

2010

A lot of my profile pictures have Danielle in them... I love her a lot. This was on our incredibly long and ridiculous (in a mostly good way) road trip to california. This was on our way up... in seattle in a vintage store. Seattle was our (well.. mine for sure, I think hers too) favourite stop on the whole trip. It was a blast.  "Where closer friends become closerer".

2011

This one might be cheating a little bit. It was my profile picture in 2011... but the picture is actually from 2006! This was the halloween that my friend Amanda and I won best 'couples' costume on halloween. We actually tricked people into thinking we were legitimate  older people. It was pretty awesome. Best costume i've ever done I think. 

2012

Gasp... I haven't changed my profile picture since October 2011!! 

So... my current picture is this one.

This was my best friends wedding. It was a blast. I miss her incredible much! This wedding party could not have been any better! These girls are all hilarious! Love em to pieces! 

And there you have it folks! My life from 2007-now! Crazyness.
